Job summary

MacKay Contracting is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to pursue, win, and execute heavy civil and mining work across the Western United States. You’ll influence opportunities, build relationships, and drive execution from pursuit through mobilization.

You’ll collaborate with estimating, operations and field leadership to create competitive plans that translate into real projects, with a strong emphasis on site integration and risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating heavy civil and mining projects in the Western U.S.
• Ability to develop bids, schedules and cost strategies working with multiple teams
• Strong understanding of field execution and project management

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate heavy civil, mining and infrastructure opportunities across the Western U.S.
• Develop estimates, quantities, pricing and bid strategies for executable plans
• Build relationships with owners, engineers, contractors, suppliers and subs
• Manage cost, schedule, contracts and subcontractor coordination after award
