Qualifications

  • Strong estimating skills in construction-related fields, including Construction Estimating and Project Estimation.
  • Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting to support accurate proposals and ongoing project financial tracking.
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Experience with commercial or industrial painting, wallcoverings, or related trades is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort with digital tools, Excel and software for estimating, project management, and documentation.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Estimator/Project Manager. The Estimator/Project Manager will prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial painting and wallcovering projects, analyze project specifications, and collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate proposals. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and scopes of work, performing quantity take-offs, managing budgets, and tracking project costs throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves coordinating schedules, communicating with clients and general contractors, and supporting project delivery to meet quality, safety, and timeline expectations. The Estimator/Project Manager will maintain organized documentation, use estimating and project management software, and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating and project processes.
