MPI in Indianapolis is seeking an Estimator with 2–3 years of construction estimating experience to support preconstruction and bidding efforts. This role offers a clear path to become Director of Estimating within 5–10 years and emphasizes leadership, attention to detail, and strong character.

Our client is an established Indianapolis-based construction management and general contracting firm with 30+ years delivering projects across commercial, healthcare, institutional, and public sectors.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of construction estimating experience for preconstruction and bidding.
• Experience across commercial, healthcare, institutional, and municipal sectors.
• Ability to takeoffs, pricing analysis, and bid packaging.
• Strong collaboration with project teams and clients.

Responsabilités

• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, and scope reviews.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, field operations, clients, architects, and consultants.
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Develop bid packages, assemble comprehensive project estimates, and support proposals.
• Build relationships with clients and trade partners to grow preconstruction.
