Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products in Hancock, MN is seeking an Estimator to handle project estimating and support the sales team by coordinating with engineers, vendors, and production to ensure costs are covered and designs are met.

You will work with the sales team to prepare accurate proposals, review vendor quotes, and help schedule projects from turnover to kickoff, while leveraging MS Office and standard engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with estimating/construction helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Estimate multiple projects concurrently and prepare proposals before bid date.
• Contact vendors for pricing and review quotes against designs/specifications.
• Review sales proposals with staff to ensure requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate turnover meetings and ensure scope clarity and paperwork.
• Assist with change order proposals and project scheduling.
• Monitor progress and help resolve obstacles to prevent delays.
• Support inside sales, production reporting, and invoicing as needed.
