Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator with strong municipal experience to support a growing pipeline of public‑sector and infrastructure work across North Texas.

You will estimate municipal and civil projects, prepare detailed takeoffs, and manage multiple bids in a high‑throughput environment, coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate pricing and public‑standards compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in municipal/civil projects.
• Ability to estimate at volume without sacrificing detail.
• Experience in the DFW / North Texas market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed takeoffs, subcontractor scopes, and competitive bids while coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate pricing and compliance with public standards.
• Manage multiple bids at once in a high-throughput estimating environment.
• Solicit, level, and vet subcontractor pricing to ensure complete scope coverage.
• Support bid strategy, risk evaluation, and value engineering efforts.

We’re seeking an Estimator with strong municipal experience to support a growing pipeline of public‑sector and infrastructure work across North Texas.

What You’ll Do:

• Estimate municipal and civil projects including:

• City park improvements
• Trail systems
• Streetscapes
• Sidewalk and ADA improvements
• Plaza renovations
• Public gathering spaces
• Sports complexes
• School site improvements
• Trailheads
• Amenity centers
• Retaining walls
• Decorative concrete
• Landscape and irrigation infrastructure

• Prepare detailed takeoffs, subcontractor scopes, and competitive bids while coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate pricing and compliance with public standards.
• Manage multiple bids at once in a high‑throughput estimating environment
• Solicit, level, and vet subcontractor pricing to ensure complete scope coverage
• Support bid strategy, risk evaluation, and value engineering efforts

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in types of projects mentioned above
• Proven ability to estimate at volume without sacrificing detail
• Experience in the DFW / North Texas market preferred
