Job summary

LVI Associates represents a leading heavy civil contractor in Dallas, seeking an Estimator to pursue and deliver major infrastructure projects across North Texas. The role focuses on accurate cost estimation, bid preparation, and market analysis to win competitive bids.

You will develop labor, material, and equipment takeoffs, review bid documents, and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure competitive pricing and project readiness from preconstruction through delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Minimum 1 year of estimating experience.
• Proficiency with estimating tools such as HCSS HeavyBid, BlueBeam, and Agtek.
• Familiarity with scheduling platforms such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Types of Projects

This role supports estimating for a variety of heavy civil projects, including roadway and highway construction, water and wastewater infrastructure, deep excavation and trenching, pump stations and treatment plant structures, stormwater and drainage improvements, structural concrete for municipal infrastructure, and large scale earthwork and site development.
