The role emphasizes accurate estimates, strong communication with GCs and owners, and teamwork within an account group to secure work and build long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience with doors, millwork or building supplies preferred.
• Proven ability to create and interpret estimates.
• Excellent communication and math skills.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to learn technical project details (e.g., billings, budgets).
• Business development background a plus; sales ability beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals from contract documents.
• Detail and revise projects in industry software.
• Price, process and manage change orders.
• Project manage including cost control, change orders, billings and performance.
• Meet delivery dates for multiple projects.
• Ensure profitability of projects.
• Prepare/provide proposals to GC or owner.
• Read and interpret accounting reports.
• Develop and maintain customer base; seek new business.
