Job summary

Construction Specialties, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an estimator to interpret requirements from drawings, specifications, and costs to create sales quotations and change orders.

You will coordinate with field representatives, architects, subcontractors, and internal personnel in an office environment. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience, proficiency in reading architectural drawings, CRM/Salesforce, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years related experience.
• Knowledge of CRM/Salesforce and designing pricing strategies.
• Willingness to travel ~5% and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements from drawings and specs to prepare bids.
• Prepare and revise bids based on contract documents and costs.
• Coordinate with sales reps to obtain missing information and suggest changes.
• Provide quotes and change orders with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with order entry, drafting, and production layout details.
• Support designers and customers with pricing and quotes.
