Job summary

AM Cabinets Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator for its Door Division. The candidate will read architectural blueprints, prepare takeoffs and bids, and collaborate with contractors to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The ideal applicant has 1–3 years of experience in commercial doors, frames and hardware, plus field exposure. Proficiency in Bluebeam/On Center and MS Office is required to coordinate procurement, scheduling, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Read architectural blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must have exceptional people skills.
• 1–3 years experience in commercial doors, frames & hardware.
• Field experience (measuring & installing) a plus.
• Bid takeoff and proposal preparation (Bluebeam/On Center).
• Effective collaboration with contractors.
• Evaluation of suppliers & subcontractors.
• Extensive research of materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural blueprints to develop accurate estimates.
• Prepare bids and proposals with clear cost breakdowns.

We are a Commercial Architectural Millwork, Doors, Frames and Hardware Company based in the South Bay. We are seeking an experienced Estimator for our Door Division. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized and task oriented.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to read Architectural blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
