Job summary

Qualus is seeking an Estimator in the Sales Support Group to provide technical and commercial sales support across engineering, operations, and sales for quotes and proposals.

The role involves interpreting electrical specs, assembling cost estimates, and coordinating with internal teams to define optimal solutions and win opportunities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years sales or sales support experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret electrical specifications and drawings is preferred.
• Ability to speak with poise and confidence, using correct English.
• Ability to properly construct written proposals using correct grammar.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, organization, multi-tasking, and self-management are required.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supports sales of company products and services with quotes and proposals.
• Read and interpret electrical specifications and drawings.
• Review specs and determine best solution with sales, engineering, and operations.
• Assemble cost estimates for materials and labor; lead review calls.
• Use CRM tool to manage client and quote activity and tasks.
• Assist in development of technical collateral, quotes, schedules, and submittals.
• Maintain knowledge base for proposals, presentations, and collateral.
• Provide sales and technical support to clients and Qualus entities.
• Assist sales to obtain job details for quotes and execution.
• Perform order clarification/verification during hand-off to Operations.
