Job summary

EXO Inc. is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for infrastructure projects across lighting poles, towers, and related assets.

You will analyze specifications, proposals, and regional data to determine materials, labor, equipment, and other resources while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Working with business development, operations, and engineering teams, you will write proposals, submit bids, and communicate risks and variances to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of estimating experience preferred.
• Proficiency with estimation software and tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Review project specs, drawings, and documents to define scope.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; negotiate prices.
• Identify risks and uncertainties and incorporate into estimates.
• Provide regular updates on estimates and variances.
• Collaborate with BD, operations, engineers to align goals.
• Stay updated on estimation practices and tools.
