Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts and lead estimates for bids for a general contractor in Nashville, TN. You will review plans, develop subcontractor scopes, and coordinate with teams to create accurate budgets.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of estimating experience, a related degree, and proficiency with Excel, OST, and Bluebeam. OSHA 30/First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.

We’re hiring an Estimator for a general contractor. You’ll support multiple preconstruction efforts and lead estimates for assigned bids.

Location: Nashville, TN

• Prepare estimates from early design through construction documents.
• Review plans and specifications, develop subcontractor scopes, and compare bids for gaps and exclusions.
• Track changes in cost, assess project risks, and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Work with project teams and subcontractors to build accurate budgets and proposals.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years of estimating experience with a general contractor.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating and plan review tools such as OST and Bluebeam.
• An understanding of construction documents, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor pricing.
• OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
