Job summary

ISEC seeks an estimator to obtain, calculate and compile data for conceptual/bid proposal estimates, preparing routine estimates under general supervision. You will ensure quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete, supporting bidding strategies and project profitability.

This role leads documentation management, participates in pre-bid meetings, bid closings and estimate reviews, and computes cost estimates for materials, subcontracted work, labor, and production activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in estimating.
• Experience acting as lead estimator on projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete.
• Support bidding strategies by debriefing sales on job elements.
• Lead project documentation management and convey decisions to teams.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and participate in bid closings and estimate reviews.
• Compute cost estimates for materials, subcontracted work, labor, and production.
• Balance workload to meet deadlines.
• Develop cost-effective alternatives analysis.
