Job summary

Interior Channel Inc. is seeking a Project Estimator to bridge inbound inquiries and signed contracts.

You own the front end of the revenue cycle—from initial quote review through site inspections and scope development. The right candidate mixes field knowledge with sales acumen, comfortable diagnosing basements and explaining a $15,000 repair scope to homeowners, while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and follow-through.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret structural conditions in the field.
• Strong written and verbal communication; explain technical scopes clearly to non-technical customers.
• Highly organized; manage multiple active estimates and inspections.
• Self-motivated; work independently in the field without daily supervision.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; significant local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Review inbound quote requests and assess scope before scheduling.
• Coordinate with Office Administrator to schedule inspections.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess foundation, waterproofing, drainage, and other site conditions.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and pricing using company framework and current costs.
• Submit finalized estimates promptly after ownership review and handle customer questions; maintain records.
