Job summary

Cerris Systems is seeking an estimator to analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects. You will interact with vendors and subcontractors and work under supervision of an upper-level estimator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from 4-year college/university or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years or more of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of estimating and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review of proposal selections and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Perform quantity take offs per plans and specifications.
• Review and understand plans and specifications for each project assigned.
• Provide detailed scope of all work included in the proposals.
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management planning and bidding.
