Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a cost estimator to deliver accurate project estimates from concept through pricing. You will work with multiple teams to gather data, analyze drawings and specifications, and present data-driven recommendations to improve profitability.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in estimating or related fields, a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related area, and a focus on market trends and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of estimating, cost analysis, or project controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for moderately complex projects from concept through final pricing.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and contracts to identify scope and risks.
• Coordinate with preconstruction, PMs, engineers, and procurement for bid packages.
• Assess market trends and vendor pricing to inform estimates and risk.
• Contribute to value engineering by evaluating alternative methods or materials.
• Support estimate reviews by organizing assumptions and clarifications.
