Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products in Hancock, MN is seeking an Estimator to handle project estimating and support the sales team. You will coordinate with engineering, vendors and production to ensure all costs are covered and accurate, acting as the main contact for customers and staff when needed.

Responsibilities include bidding concurrent projects, obtaining vendor quotes, reviewing proposals with the sales team, coordinating turnover meetings, and assisting with change orders while proactively

Qualifications

• Estimating and project management experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Associates Degree or Civil Engineering experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to understand engineered drawings.

Responsibilities

• Estimate multiple projects concurrently and deliver proposals to sales before bid date.
• Contact vendors for pricing and review quotes to meet designs.
• Review proposals with sales to ensure requirements, timelines and subs.
• Lead turnover meetings at sale to confirm scope, values, and paperwork.
• Assist with Change Order Proposals as needed.
• Monitor progress and assist staff to expedite projects and solve obstacles.
