Shaw Sports Turf is seeking an Estimator to convert plans and specifications into accurate, competitive bids. You will work with estimating and sales teams to interpret drawings, quantify materials, and assemble bid packages using AutoCAD.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, precise documentation, and ongoing learning in construction estimation. On-site position with a focus on accuracy and timely bid delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Excel and AutoCAD to support estimates.
• Experience with takeoffs, cost estimation, and bid packages is a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate bids and complete bid packages.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to identify labor and materials.
• Perform material takeoffs and develop accurate proposals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
• Develop conceptual drawings and takeoffs from plans using AutoCAD.
• Update bids when plans or requirements change.
• Maintain organized project documentation and versions.
• Support quality reviews to catch discrepancies.
