Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR in Willowick, OH is seeking a Write/Run Construction Estimator to create precise Xactimate estimates and oversee projects from estimation to completion.

The role requires on-site work, 3+ years of construction PM experience, 2+ years in restoration, strong material knowledge, and excellent communication. You will coordinate with insurance adjusters, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Xactimate estimating experience.
  • 3+ years of construction project management experience.
  • 2+ years of restoration industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and damage restoration processes.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing teams of subcontractors and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, and job management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct onsite inspections and prepare precise Xactimate estimates in line with program guidelines and IICRC standards.
  • Manage the jobs you estimate, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality restoration.
  • Document clear job site photos and project reports.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and scheduling subcontractors to keep projects on track.
  • Review and submit change orders, supplements, and final invoicing details.
  • Provide excellent customer service, guiding homeowners and business owners through the repair process and payment expectations.
  • Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are met.

What You’ll Do
