Job summary

360 Fire & Flood, a leading national disaster restoration company, seeks an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets for commercial and residential projects by analyzing plans, materials, labor, and specifications.

The Estimator will work closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop competitive and profitable proposals, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure estimates align with company standards and objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in restoration industry.
• Minimum 2+ years of water damage restoration experience.
• Minimum 3 years using Xactimate software.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates using Xactimate and other tools.
• Analyze plans, specs, materials, labor, and other project requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure estimates align with company standards.
• Develop budgets for commercial and residential projects.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and project budgets for commercial and residential projects by analyzing plans and specifications, materials, labor, and other project requirements. This role works closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop competitive and profitable proposals. The Estimator identifies cost-saving opportunities, and ensures all estimates align with company standards and objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Utilize extensive knowledge and experience to prepare estimates in Xactimate.
• Demonstrate proficiency with source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents, and deodorization techniques.
• Must be capable of estimating fixed bid projects as well as, time and material projects.
• Uphold project management standards for projects exceeding $1M.
• Maintain and review accurate field documentation, photo logs, graphs, and sketches for various projects.
• Must be proactive conveying information to clients and other team member s .
• Perform other duties as assigned.
