Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction estimating, project engineering, or related role.
• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering, Architecture or related field (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials and terminology.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, specs and docs.
• Support outreach to subcontractors and suppliers, including bids.
• Assist with bid leveling, scope reviews and pricing analysis.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Review plans, specs and addenda for full scope coverage.
• Prepare bid proposals and tender documentation.
