• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering, Architecture or related field (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials and terminology.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

About Our Client

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi‑family construction projects
• Perform accurate quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications and other project documentation
• Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking
• Assist with bid levelling, scope reviews and pricing analysis under the guidance of senior estimators
• Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information
• Review plans, specifications and addenda to ensure full and accurate scope coverage
• Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions

The Successful Applicant

• 2+ years' experience in construction estimating, project engineering or a related role (internships welcome)
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Fundamental understanding of construction methods, materials and terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam or On‑Screen Takeoff (advantageous)
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment
