Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Construction Estimator in Denver, CO to prepare estimates and proposals for conceptual projects, meet deadlines, and assist in value engineering. You will interpret drawings, assist in procurement, and support change orders while collaborating with a Lead Estimator.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction or 1–2 years of related experience, plus strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office and estimating software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction or related field or 1–2 years related work experience.
• Preferred 2 years' experience estimating interiors and exteriors in the construction industry.
• Well-developed analytic and conceptual skills; ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Bluebeam, Quick-Bid and OST software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and proposals for conceptual projects.
• Complete assigned project estimates on established deadlines and priorities.
• Prepare clear and effective proposals for review by the Lead Estimator.
• Assist in performing value engineering of materials, means and methods of construction.
• Assist in soliciting or qualifying proposals from suppliers/subcontractors; participate in procurement.
• Provide estimating assistance with Change Orders, as required.
