Job summary

ECC Exteriors is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Pacific Northwest team. This role targets a detail-oriented professional who can independently manage bids, analyze project requirements, and contribute to winning work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, reviewing plans and contracts, developing takeoffs, and leading the bid process. Travel throughout the Pacific Northwest with occasional extra-regional trips is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction estimating, exterior renovations, multi-family or commercial experience preferred.
• Ability to manage estimates independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and cost drivers.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel.

• Prepare accurate, comprehensive cost estimates for large-scale exterior renovation projects.
• Analyze plans, specs, and contracts to understand scope, risks, and requirements.
• Develop detailed takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subs.
• Lead and manage the bid process from start to submission.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and leadership to ensure competitive bids.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed.
• Maintain estimating databases, cost history, and tools.

Qualifications And Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating (exterior renovations, multi-family, or commercial preferred).
• Proven ability to manage estimates independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest, with occasional travel outside the region as needed.

Work Environment

• Combination of office-based work and on-site project visits.
• Travel between job sites across Washington and Oregon.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary starting at $75,000+ depending on experience.
