Job summary

ECC Exteriors in the Pacific Northwest seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead large-scale exterior renovation projects from inception to completion, overseeing on-site teams, schedules, safety, and budgets. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in superintendent roles for exterior multi-family or commercial builds, strong reading of drawings, and the ability to travel regularly within Washington and surrounding states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent on exterior multi-family or commercial projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents.
• Experience in roofing, carpentry/siding, windows/doors, and exterior painting on multi-level structures.
• Willingness to travel within Washington and neighboring states.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred; certifications are a plus.

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to final walkthroughs including project close-out.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, safety meeting logs and required documents, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Review progress and approve sub-contractor’s invoices.
• Provide weekly updates via progress reports to management and customers.
• Assist with detailed takeoffs and estimating.

We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to join our team in the Pacific Northwest market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale exterior renovation projects from inception to completion. • Ability to travel within Washington and boarding states on a regular basis.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects with a focus on quality and safety.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements And Preferences For The Superintendent Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different types of terrain.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.

Work Environment

• Primarily on-site at construction locations.
• Will require travel between job sites including in Washington and Oregon
• May involve extended hours or weekend work depending on project needs.
