Job summary

Joe Taylor Restoration is seeking an Estimator to act as the primary contact for clients through the restoration process. You will inspect property damage, prepare estimates, negotiate scope, and sell restoration projects for mold, fire, and biohazard losses.

Work closely with the production team to ensure on-time delivery, within budget, and high quality, while delivering an exceptional client experience. Required: 1–3 years estimating or sales, a valid driver's license, and Xactimate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years estimating, restoration, project management, or sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with Xactimate required.
• Mold, AMRT, WRT, and Lead certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to assess fire, mold, and biohazard damage.
• Prepare accurate estimates and scopes of work.
• Negotiate project scope with insurance adjusters.
• Present restoration solutions and successfully sell and close restoration projects.
• Obtain client approvals and signed contracts to begin work.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to project completion.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors.
• Manage assigned restoration projects and monitor progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage jobs and maintain accurate documentation in the CRM system.

Job description

The Estimator serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the restoration process. This position is responsible for inspecting property damage, preparing accurate estimates, negotiating project scope, and successfully selling and closing restoration projects for mold, fire, and biohazard losses. The Estimator works closely with the production team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to project completion, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while providing an exceptional client experience.

Compensation

$125,000–$250,000/ yr On-Target Earnings (OTE) through a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
