Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking an Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle damage and creating estimates. You will coordinate repairs with customers, insurance companies, and our team to align on repair plans and timelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license. I-CAR training is supported as part of career development.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in DRP compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Document and communicate repair plans with customers and insurance providers.
  • Assess vehicle damage and document required repairs and parts.
  • Coordinate with management and team during daily production walks.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance program requirements and DRP procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service during the repair process.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
