Job summary

Newfield Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with 3–5 years of construction estimating experience to join our Hartford, CT team.

You will review drawings, prepare cost estimates, solicit subcontractor quotes, and collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers. A degree in Construction Management or related field is required, along with proficiency in estimating software and strong communication.

Position Overview

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects-
• Review project drawings, specifications, and related documents

• Participate in bid meetings and presentations

• Ability to perform conceptual + schematic estimates
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., On-Screen, Roctek, Bluebeam, Excel workbooks)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork ability
