Creative Financial Staffing, LLC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals for construction projects. The role collaborates with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and customers from preconstruction through completion.

The position is on-site five days a week with some schedule flexibility and opportunities to contribute to cost-saving initiatives and improved estimating processes.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience with construction estimating and bid preparation.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, bids, and proposals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate bid documents and maintain estimating records.
• Develop conceptual budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with project turnover and change order pricing.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines.

Baltimore, MD | On-Site

$70,000-$90,000 Base salary + up to 30% bonus potential

Our client, a well‑known metal fabrication company in Baltimore, MD is seeking a detail‑oriented Estimator to prepare accurate project bids, cost estimates, and proposals for construction projects. This role works closely with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and customers to support projects from preconstruction through completion.

This position is onsite 5 days/week, but allows for flexibility and flexible schedule.

Estimator Key Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, bids, and proposals.

Estimator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Construction, engineering, estimating, internship, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and estimating software.
• Self‑motivated team player with excellent communication skills and high professional integrity.
