Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator for commercial and industrial projects based in the Baltimore area. The role involves managing the estimating process from bid evaluation through project award, preparing accurate estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, and evaluating subcontractor pricing to support successful project execution.

• Commercial or industrial construction experience required.
• Electrical estimating experience preferred but not required.
• Experience using estimating software such as Accubid or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete project estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.

• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to manage the estimating process from bid evaluation through project award.

This role is responsible for preparing accurate estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing, evaluating project risks, and supporting successful project execution through detailed project handoffs.
