Job summary

CFS in Baltimore, MD is seeking an on-site Estimator to prepare bids, cost estimates, and proposals for construction projects. The role collaborates with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and customers from preconstruction through completion.

The position is onsite 5 days/week with flexible scheduling. Competitive base salary plus up to 30% bonus, strong benefits, and a people-first culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, bids, and proposals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate bid documents and maintain estimating records.
• Develop conceptual budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with project turnover and change order pricing.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.

Compensation:

$70,000-$90,000 Base salary + up to 30% bonus potential

Our client, a well-known metal fabrication company in Baltimore, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate project bids, cost estimates, and proposals for construction projects. This role works closely with vendors, subcontractor, project managers, and customers to support projects from preconstruction through completion.

This position is onsite 5 days/week, but allows real for flexibility and flexible schedule.

Estimator Key Job Responsibilities

Estimator Qualifications

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and estimating software.
• Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and high professional integrity.
