Job summary

Hover is building an estimating product that integrates with our measurements and 3D AI workflow. We are seeking a senior leader to own the roadmap end-to-end for the Hover estimating product line, unifying retail and restoration/insurance use cases without forking the product or team.

You will manage the Estimates team (six engineers) and collaborate weekly with product, design, and data groups to ship toward a single direction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with ownership of a product roadmap.
• 4+ years managing engineering teams and hiring.
• Experience leading multiple teams or focus areas.
• Experience managing engineers with pricing/configuration/rules logic.
• Architectural depth and ability to defend decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own Hover's estimating product roadmap end to end.
• Define two connected use cases: retail and restoration/insurance.
• Directly manage the Estimates team (six engineers) and coordinate with product, design, and data groups.
• Lead move to a flexible estimating engine and reduce legacy functionality.
• Partner with catalog team to build standalone pricing functionality.
