Job summary

Tusco, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Estimating Specialist to support the Preconstruction team with estimates, takeoffs, pricing, and bid development. The role involves reviewing project documents, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining bid information from initial receipt through proposal submission.

Based in the Huntsville office, travel to project sites and pre-bid meetings may be required. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success in

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimates and proposals for assigned projects.
• Review drawings, specs and bid docs to understand requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost development.
• Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with vendors to confirm scope and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate opportunity information in CRM and logs.
