Job summary

Arconic in Springdale, AR is seeking an Estimating Scheduler to join the Kawneer team. You will serve as the central coordinator of the order pursuit process, evaluating bid viability and assigning work to estimators to ensure timely proposals.

You will review incoming quote requests, balance priorities, and collaborate with Sales and Engineering to secure opportunities and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer pricing requests, plans, specs, material lists, and simple take-offs.
• Select documents and materials for lead review.
• Create electronic folders and printouts for lead review.
• Maintain schedule and database through level loading.
• Assist lead in bid/no-bid decision-making.
• Confirm scheduling requests with customer and/or sales.
• Coordinate with Engineering for engineering review schedules.
• Coordinate with Kawneer facilities for package pricing.
• Create estimates using KaluCAD.

Job Summary:

Join our team as an Estimating Scheduler, a critical partner in driving business growth and securing new opportunities across the West and South Sales Regions. In this fast-paced and highly collaborative role, you will serve as the central coordinator of the order pursuit process, ensuring quote opportunities are strategically evaluated and efficiently assigned.

As the first point of review for incoming quote requests, you will assess project opportunities, determine bid viability, evaluate estimating timelines, and allocate work to the appropriate estimator to ensure timely and accurate proposal development. Your ability to balance priorities, manage workflows, and make informed decisions will directly contribute to our success in winning new business and delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will:

• Understand Customer Pricing Request; plans and specifications, material lists, simple take-offs requiring application revisions.
• Selecting the proper documents/ materials for lead review.
• Creation of Electronic folders/ printouts for lead review.
• Maintain schedule and database through level loading.
• Assist lead in bid/no-bid selectivity.
• Confirm with customer and/or sales regarding scheduling requests.
• Coordinate with Engineering department for schedule of engineering review.
• Coordination with other Kawneer facilities for package pricing for multiple products.
• Create estimates with KaluCAD.
