Job summary

Taylor Promotional Products, a division of Taylor Corporation, seeks an Estimating Representative to provide accurate quotes and estimates for customer orders. You will work with distribution, kitting, fulfillment, and sales to ensure timely, cost-effective quotations and pricing strategies.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in estimating or quoting, strong mathematical abilities, and excellent Excel skills. Strong communication and organizational talents are essential for coordinating with

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in estimating, quoting, or a related field.
• Solid mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong aptitude for Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process quotes quickly and accurately based on customer requests, sales, and marketing.
• Apply pricing programs using the costing model and sales tools.
• Collect information from distribution, kitting, fulfillment and shipping for proper quotations.
• Compute cost estimates from third parties for products, decoration, subcontracted work, and labor.
• Calculate selling prices by adding gross profit to cost estimates.
• Maintain product knowledge, production times, and vendor capabilities.
• Resolve questions and escalate complex issues to management.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth workflows.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure best solutions and pricing.
• Perform inventory analysis and review replenishment needs.
• Be familiar with international shipping rules and practices.
