Job summary

Greenberry Industrial LLC in Vancouver, WA is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead the heavy industrial piping estimating team. This role focuses on producing accurate estimates for complex projects and coordinating with PM, engineering, and procurement to align bids with execution strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping systems, welding concepts, and experience using estimating software, with leadership experience overseeing a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of estimating experience in heavy industrial projects.
• Deep knowledge of industrial piping systems and estimating requirements.
• Experience with welding, QA/QC, and isometrics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of conceptual and detailed cost estimates for heavy industrial piping.
• Review specifications, P&IDs, isometrics, and drawings to assess material, labor, and equipment needs.
• Identify piping components; coordinate with vendors for pricing and availability.
• Incorporate welding procedures, testing requirements, and installation constraints.
• Coordinate with fabrication shops for prefabrication pricing and lead times.
• Develop estimating tools, piping cost databases, and productivity factors.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations for scope and bid strategy.
• Maintain detailed documentation of estimates and bid assumptions.
• Manage multiple estimating efforts and meet tight deadlines.
• Mentor junior estimators and liaise with clients and internal teams.
