Job summary

Greenberry Industrial seeks an Estimator to support bids for complex industrial fabrication, focusing on structural steel, modular assemblies, vessels, and nuclear scopes. You will prepare detailed estimates, price labor and materials, and assess subcontractor quotes to deliver compliant bids on schedule.

Collaboration with estimating leadership, project management, engineering, procurement, and business development is required to ensure scope, strategy, and contractual obligations match bid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial construction estimating.
• Experience estimating structural, modular, vessel, or nuclear-related scopes.
• Exposure to piping or mechanical estimating considered beneficial.
• Experience supporting hard-bid and negotiated work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate conceptual and detailed cost estimates per bid schedules.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and models for multiple scopes.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing per requirements.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations for scope alignment.
• Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field teams to validate constructability and schedule impacts.
• Incorporate quality, inspection, and documentation requirements into estimates for nuclear work.
• Review bid documents to ensure full compliance and assemble complete bid packages.
• Manage multiple bids and maintain organized estimate files for audits.
