Job summary

The Civi Group LLC is seeking a Senior Estimator for industrial piping on heavy projects in New Hampshire. You will lead estimating activities, perform quantity take-offs, review PFDs and P&IDs, and ensure accurate scope and cost competitiveness.

Join a collaborative team, coordinate with project managers and vendors, and deliver timely bids. A BS in Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years of piping estimating are preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and design documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates for process piping.
• Analyze RFPs and specifications for accurate project scoping.
• Coordinate with project teams and vendors to gather pricing.

Responsibilities

• Define the scope of work for estimates and bid preparation, focusing on process piping systems.
• Utilize estimating software to conduct accurate quantity take-offs specific to process piping projects.
• Analyze RFPs, specifications, and basis of design to ensure precise project scoping for process piping construction.
• Collaborate with the project team to coordinate estimates and meet submission deadlines effectively.
• Interpret PFDs and P&IDs to understand system requirements and accurately estimate material quantities.
• Evaluate piping material specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Review piping system layouts to identify constructability issues and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability for piping materials and equipment.
