Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, invites applications for Senior Estimator in the Critical Infrastructure Group.

You will develop detailed quantity takeoffs for complex infrastructure projects, provide material options, and support bid strategies with sales and Pre-Bid teams. You will mentor Estimator I & II, review drawings, identify cost-saving opportunities, and coordinate with contractors, engineers and vendors to resolve questions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in construction or critical infrastructure.
• Strong track record of performing complex takeoffs.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads quantity takeoffs for complex and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Interprets drawings, specifications and engineering plans with high accuracy.
• Reviews and approves takeoffs and coordinates with internal teams and clients.
• Supports development of advanced bid strategies with the sales team.
• Mentors Estimator I and II personnel and provides coaching and guidance.
