Job summary

Rotor Clip is seeking an Estimating Engineer to support RFQ activities and cost analysis. The role focuses on developing accurate manufacturing cost models and competitive selling prices while ensuring production feasibility and margin targets.

The position collaborates with Engineering, Sales, Production Control, and Customer Service to review RFQs, analyze data, and respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring quotes meet margin and feasibility goals.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Manufacturing and estimating experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, drawings, and specifications.
• Develop cost estimates including material, labor, tooling, outside processing, and overhead.
• Recommend selling prices aligned with margin goals.
• Analyze historical quote data for consistency.
• Perform capacity analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production Control, and Customer Service.
• Respond to time sensitive customer requests.
