Job summary

Power Design is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to manage the estimating process from start to finish, set deadlines, and produce accurate bid packages. This role provides exposure to electrical, security, access control, networking systems, and more, in a fast-paced environment.

Based in Saint Petersburg, FL, you will coordinate deliverables, communicate with vendors and clients, and research quotes while forecasting future awards and collaborating with the project management team to transfer

Qualifications

• College graduates with 1–3 years of related coordination or administrative work experience.
• Problem solving in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Strong MS Office skills and basic database/PDF-editing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules of deliverables for the team and assist with managing timelines, deadlines, and estimating packages.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to build relationships, define project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate prices, and facilitate product registrations.
• Research quotes for material and labor from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Continuously follow up on bid projects and forecast future awards.
• Partner with Power Design’s construction project management team to transfer awarded projects.
