Job summary

Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to support bid activities with Project Estimators and subcontractors. The role focuses on coordinating from setup to bid submittal, enhancing collaboration across the estimating team and trade partners.

You will learn our estimating processes, read plans, manage documents, and help assemble complete bid packages while building strong relationships with clients and architectural teams in California and the western United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction field, construction management school, or trade school.
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications is a plus.
• Ability to learn how to utilize estimating software effectively.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and edit/markup Adobe PDFs
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Learn Eleven Western Builders’ services, processes and procedures, and business lines.
• Learn estimating process and expectations of project estimators; review bid invitations, set up projects for bid solicitation, communicate with subcontractors, distribute plans and project documents, process subcontractor bids and pre-qualification packages.
• Learn estimating software and build positive relationships with the Estimating Team, Subcontractors, Project Managers, General Superintendents, and Leadership.
• Fully understand the project bidding process and provide coordination to support estimators.
• Understand pre-qualification process and guidance to trade partners to efficiently complete the process.
• Work with Project Estimator to provide a complete bid package to clients.
• Foster positive relationships with Clients and Architectural teams.
• Coordinate to gather documents and materials to assemble a bid package that showcases company values.
• Provide bid results and future opportunities, attend weekly meetings, and support the estimating team.
• Problem-solve in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
