Job Summary:

The Esthetician is responsible for providing guests with comprehensive and professional baths, facials, and body therapies. Must have excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills and maintain a high level of customer service standards. Must have the ability to perform services using proper draping techniques, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism at all times. Scheduling, dependability, and flexibility are a must.

Reporting to the Director of Spa, every day is different, but you will mostly:

• Promote Regent’s service philosophy and style through our people attributes.
• Understand and adhere to Regent Spa policies and procedures.
• Set up and maintain tidy treatment areas, respecting colleagues.
• Conduct spa facility tours for guests when required.
• Collaborate respectfully with guests and coworkers.
• Report guest issues to Spa Manager on Duty.
• Engage in daily client outreach, tracking retail goals.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of products, rooms, and equipment.
• Adhere to state licensing regulations and use required PPE and sanitation standards.
• Make decisions within established policies and procedures.
• Maintain staff communication by checking and refreshing bulletin boards and mailboxes for spa-related information.
• Attend all departmental and property training sessions and mandatory staff meetings.

What We need from you:

• Minimum 1-3 years of Esthetician experience, within a luxury hotel/resort preferred.
• Must have current CA Esthetics License.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Polished, professional, with strong written and verbal English skills.
• Organized, timely, and detail-oriented.
• Basic computer software skills.
• Friendly, professional, and dependable with good judgment.
• Excellent personal hygiene.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, weekends, and on-call availability.

What you can expect from us:

Thehourly pay rate for this role is $19.50, plus commission. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed atRegent Santa Monica Beach. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A colleague’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
