Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform facials and body treatments such as laser, wax, threading, depilatory services, chemical peels, exfoliation, wraps and masks, makeup application and microdermabrasion.
• Deliver services in accordance with del Lago standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide guest service excellence and maintain knowledge of product information used during services.
• Assist with product sales and stay updated on spa industry trends.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings and complete daily tasks as requested by management.

JOB SUMMARY

Specialize in the enhancement and health of the skin. Responsible for performing a variety of facial and body techniques and practices to increase, improve, or maintain the healthy appearance of the skin.

Pay Range: $16.00-$16.75/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all- inclusive:

• Perform procedures such as facials, laser, wax, threading, and depilatory hair removal, chemical/acid peels, exfoliation, wraps and masks, makeup application and microdermabrasion
• Perform all services in accordance with del Lago standards, policies, and procedures
• Provide appropriate and consistent levels of guest service and hospitality
• Maintain knowledge of all product information used during guest services
• Participate in individual home spa product sales with every guest
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Spa and Salon industry trends
• Attend and fully participate in all mandatory trainings and meetings
• Required to complete daily tasks at request of management
• Ensure all treatment areas are clean and neat in accordance with department standards
• Display a professional and cooperative demeanor in all interactions with department staff, other del Lago employees, vendors, and guests
• Knowledge of company and property and can share this knowledge with guests
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have ability to:

• Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts
• Required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Required to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently
• Required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Required to stand and sit for extended periods of time

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Current NYS license in Beauty Enhancement is required. One year experience in administering skincare/depilatory services in a luxury resort or spa setting. Proficiency in all aspects of skincare/depilatory services. Excellent personal presentation, good communication skills and a friendly, caring personality. The ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced service environment while maintaining composure and focus on guest service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

• Attend all required training sessions offered by the casino
• Obtain required licenses
• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
• Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
• Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies
• Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management
