Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Esthetician to join the Spa & Wellness team at the premier Vermont mountain community of Spruce Peak. This role focuses on skin care services, including facials, body treatments, and waxing.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of spa or hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. Full-time availability is required, with various perks including health benefits and winter ski passes.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of prior spa or hospitality experience preferred.
• CPR Certified preferred.
• Understanding of hospitality operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, efficient service to all guests and spa visitors.
• Provides consistent professional facials and waxing in accordance with spa protocols.
• Maintains an accurate supply list and inventory sheet.

Join our Spa & Wellness team as an Esthetician and help us deliver exceptional experiences in a luxury resort environment.

The Esthetician specializes in providing services related to skin care, including facial and body treatments, salt glows, waxing as a form of hair removal, and cosmetic make-up.

Wage: Commission

Must be able to work full-time hours Thursday through Monday including all Holiday's.

What You’ll Do:

• Provides courteous, efficient service to all guests and spa visitors.
• Provides consistent professional facials and waxing in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Has complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas
• Actively promotes the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Greets guests upon arrival.
• Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and safe facility.
• Maintains an accurate supply list and inventory sheet.
• Maintains a clean and organized spa by monitoring the facilities regularly.
• Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of prior spa or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong organizational and time management discipline.
• Understanding of hospitality operating systems.
• CPR Certified preferred.
• Solid judgment and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Operate effectively in stressful situations.
