Kerkering, Barberio & Co. is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the Estate & Trust team. You will own complex engagements, mentor professionals, and grow client relationships while delivering sound tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, judgment, and a client-centric approach to service, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and collaborate with fiduciaries, attorneys, and financial advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA license required.
• 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience with estate, trust, fiduciary, gift, and high-net-worth taxation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of estate, trust, gift, and related tax engagements.
• Build and maintain client relationships with fiduciaries, attorneys, and financial advisors.
• Supervise teams, coach staff, and ensure quality control across engagements.
• Identify tax-planning opportunities and contribute to practice development.
