Kerkering Barberio & Co in Florida is seeking a Tax Supervisor – Estate & Trust to manage estate, trust, gift, and related tax engagements and supervise staff. You will review Form 1041, 1040, 706, 709, and fiduciary reporting, while meeting deadlines and budgets.

This role requires 5 years of progressive public accounting experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication. Flexible work-from-home options are available, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Five years progressive experience in public accounting, including estate, trust, fiduciary, gift, and high-net-worth taxation.

Responsibilities

• Performs a broad range of estate, trust, gift, and individual tax engagements; supervises engagements to minimize direct involvement of Managers and Shareholders.
• Prepares and reviews Form 1041, 1040, 706, 709, and beneficiary reporting; reviews related financial activity and documentation.
• Directs, instructs, and trains staff; ensures accuracy, quality and timely delivery; communicates with clients and professionals.
