Job summary

United Placement Group seeks an experienced Estate & Retirement Financial Advisor to join as an outside advisor on a 1099 contract. You’ll meet clients at their homes or other pre-set locations and via pre-scheduled virtual appointments, focusing on retirement and estate planning rather than prospecting.

You’ll benefit from pre-set appointments, back-office support, and access to top carriers. Typical earnings range from $150K to $300K+ depending on production.

Qualifications

• Active Health & Life license (required)
• Series 65, Series 7 & 66, or similar (ChFC, RICP a plus or willing to obtain)
• Familiarity with Roth conversions and retirement income planning
• Proven sales experience with a consultative, needs-based approach
• Clean U4 (if currently registered)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to meet clients within your territory, with occasional overnight stays as needed

Responsibilities

• Meet with pre-qualified prospects in the field — many already clients of our Estate Planning services — interested in retirement and estate planning
• Recommend annuity, insurance, and retirement income strategies based on client needs, including Roth conversions
• Close business and maintain client relationships
• Work alongside a dedicated Case Manager and Appointment Setter
