Job summary

Snell & Wilmer is seeking a full-time Estate Planning Paralegal to join its Private Client Services Practice Group in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will support estate and trust planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, with strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include drafting and revising trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related documents, coordinating with clients and professionals, and managing deadlines and documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and ABA‑accredited paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of paralegal experience in estate and trust planning.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver consistent, high‑quality work product to attorneys and clients.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to self-start.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with estate planning, trust administration, probate, and estate administration matters.
• Prepare and revise trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, beneficiary designations, and related documents.
• Assist with trust funding, asset retitling, wealth-transfer planning, and closely held business entities.
• Prepare probate and estate administration documents, inventories, accountings, notices, and related filings.
• Gather and organize financial, tax, asset, valuation, and client information.
• Coordinate with clients, trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, accountants, advisors, and other professionals.
• Track assets, distributions, expenses, tax obligations, court requirements, and deadlines.
• Maintain client and matter files and assist with matter opening/closing, billing, and document management.
