Jobot, a boutique trusts & estates firm in Illinois, seeks a Full Time or Part-Time Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. You will draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents, and assist with probate and estate administration.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an accredited law school, at least 2 years’ estate planning experience, and is licensed to practice in IL. Strong analytical skills and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years in estate planning and administration.
• Licensed to practice law in IL.
• Proven drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
• Probate experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• High ethical standards and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
• Assist with probate and estate administration matters
• Handle client communications as needed
• Make occasional court appearances when required
• Collaborate with other professionals such as accountants, financial advisors, and insurance agents to ensure a comprehensive estate plan.
• Keep up-to-date with current laws and regulations related to estate planning and administration to provide accurate advice to clients.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the legal profession.
